Md. Harun-Or-Rashid completed his Master's degree at the University of Dhaka. Born in 1969, he worked in employment for a few years after his studies before leaving to start a trading business, and at the same time ventured into imports. During his business career he has also been involved in the garments industry, importing chemicals, ceramics and tiles from China and Singapore. He remains actively engaged in various social development activities, with a primary goal of establishing himself as a successful businessman.
